About Me
Featured here is one of my works as a student, the Mango Leather Ottoman – designing food waste for reuse. This project was featured in the Winter 2022 NY NOW exhibition, and won an award for “Best in NY NOW Show, Furniture”.
motto is a conscientious creation aimed at diminishing the impact of fast fashion in the furniture industry and curbing the environmental toll of traditional leather production. This innovative furniture piece proudly utilizes recycled mango skins as upholstery, offering a compelling alternative to toxic leather and contributing to a more eco-friendly future. By utilizing only repurposed materials, this project takes a bold stance against fast furniture trends, inspiring a shift towards responsible, lasting design choices that prioritize both style and environmental consciousness.
